Laokasti Villas Hotel

We had a lovely six-night stay and would happily return. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with air conditioning, and breakfast was tasty and filling. There’s a nice pool area with loungers and umbrellas, friendly staff, and secure parking. It feels safe, with no passersby and staff living on site, so there are always people around. A little supermarket next door is handy for drinks and snacks. The hotel sits at the edge of the main pedestrian street into Oia old town, with the views, restaurants, and shops all an easy walk away. A great place to stay in Oia.

The room was large enough for three or four people, and the price seemed reasonable compared with other hotels in Oia. It’s right at the start of the main walking street, with friendly staff and a good restaurant. Parking was easy in their decent-sized free lot. We spent lovely time by the pool, where a sweet cat came to keep us company. A staff member cleaned the pool carefully every morning, so it was always nice to relax there. Everything went smoothly for us. The only downside was low water pressure, though it didn’t bother us much. A lovely place on a paradise island.

Great price and an ideal spot right at the edge of the walking street into Oia. The staff were friendly and supportive. We found the food choices quite limited, but I’d still fully recommend staying here.

We could watch the sunset from the pool or the restaurant’s top floor, away from the nighttime crowds at Oia’s point. The restaurant was really good too, and cost a fraction of what places on the main strip charge. Mostly, though, it was the people and the location that made this one of our best holidays. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely glad we’d come to stay.
