Nano Oia Villas

After seeing most of Oia, we realized the best view was right from our room. The villa itself was beautiful, with breathtaking views and a hot tub the kids loved. Ali helped with our luggage from day one and gave us great recommendations. He and Vasilis answered questions within minutes, arranged a car service to the ferry at a better price than Uber, and even rescued us after we left our passports behind by sending them straight to the ferry. Their service was truly exceptional. We had an amazing stay at Nano Villa and hope to return one day.

Getting a refund turned into a battle, and it only moved along after I threatened a charge back. We had photo evidence of the bed bugs in the room. The check in was very poor. We waited several hours to reach anyone, even though we had filled out the check in survey. Outside the rooms, broken bricks were scattered around because the site was under construction. When we finally got inside, it smelled strongly of paint. Bed bugs were already visible between the sheet and comforter without lifting the sheet. I thought that suggested there could be many more underneath and likely in the mattress. We left immediately and asked for a refund rather than stay. They offered to clean the room or move us, but we didn’t want to remain at a property where we’d found bugs. They said bed bugs were normal because it was a “cave” and offered to change the sheets. That seemed to show how unaware they were of the problem. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t want bed bugs.

We felt so looked after that we decided to extend our stay. Shamsher made a real difference, replying to every question and request incredibly quickly and with genuine care. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the services were top notch. A flawless stay and a truly outstanding experience.

The rooms were clean and well ventilated, with exclusive views of the sea and sun. You can just sit and watch the beauty and calm. It feels like a whole different world, definitely worth visiting.
