Galaxy

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful, and we felt very well looked after. It’s a great little hotel, and our room was decent, with the amenities we needed for a summer island holiday and a comfortable bed. We had a small balcony with a sunset view, though not all rooms may have one. We’d definitely stay here again.

The shared terrace was the real highlight, with an amazing sunset view. Our room was small but well laid out, very clean and had a comfortable bed with nice bedding. The toilet was modern, the shower decent, and the balcony was a good size with a partial sea view.

Everything is within walking distance, and it was one of the more affordable choices in Amorgos. The bathroom had been newly renovated. The room itself was quite small, and there was a smell that seemed to come either from the sewage or from poor ventilation.

We fell for Amorgos, and Galaxy Hotel made a great base for enjoying the holiday. Aegiali’s main beach is a 10-minute walk away, with nice bars and restaurants just three minutes away. The terrace and balcony both have beautiful views. The hotel is simple but lovely and very clean, and our room looked recently renovated. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we felt comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.
