Alea Hotel & Suites

The food was the one good part for us. Otherwise, the price felt far too high for what Alea offers. Our room was average, staff were rude, and the air conditioners didn’t work very well. The manager wouldn’t give us a canopy, despite all of them being empty. Lunch at the beach bar was hard to eat with wasps flying everywhere. They also watered down the beer, and there’s very little to do inside the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We loved our week at this hotel on Thassos and couldn’t have chosen better. The food, drinks, and snacks were great, as were the accommodation, security, and beach. The service and staff were friendly too. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

The all-inclusive snacks between meals were a disappointment, just visibly old fruit or leftover little sandwiches, and there wasn’t much of either. Lunch is only served at the beach, where bees keep bothering you, so it’s hard to enjoy a calm meal. I can’t believe this hasn’t been addressed. Entertainment was poor too. Since we were visiting a Greek island, at least one proper Greek evening would have been nice. My impression of the hotel is average, and its services, especially the all-inclusive package, don’t meet a 4-star standard. If you’ve stayed at other 4-star resorts, you may be disappointed.

The manager was a great guy and upgraded us for free to a superior room with its own yard and a jacuzzi. The food was good, especially breakfast and dinner, and the drinks were okay for an all-inclusive. Alea is well kept, and we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
