Chatziandreou Hotel

We decided to check out a day early, even though we had paid for all five nights. The hotel is about 3 km from the seaside, and breakfast was limited to pastries, egg dishes, tomatoes, sweet breads, and tea. It presents itself as a four-star property, but there are no hallway cameras. What upset us most was how the manager reacted when I said our room had been entered while we were away. She shouted and was dismissive, even though I explained that I wasn’t expecting to get the money back, only wanted steps taken to protect future guests. I asked for room entry logs, and she said the system couldn’t filter by room. At the very least, she could have taken screenshots of the relevant entries. The day after we arrived, someone entered the room while we were at the beach and stole our cash. We suspect the timing may have been deliberate, since we had requested no cleaning, perhaps to give someone time to search, with someone else covering in case we returned early. We had booked just five nights and didn’t need towel changes during that short stay for environmental reasons. After many enjoyable trips, this was our first negative experience. We strongly advise against staying here, especially given the manager’s rude response.
