Ornos beach is only about a five-minute walk away, which is a great location. The apartment could use a few more kitchen tools, and taking a shower takes care if you don’t want water splashed all over the place. During our week, cleaning amounted to the trash being emptied, and management was a bit slow to fix a few issues.

The whole family had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would book again. We were three generations, so finding a place that suited everyone can be tricky, but GT suites worked well for us. It’s quiet, near the sea, and has a pool. The apartment felt like home, with an oven and washing machine so we didn’t have to eat out every night. Shops and local restaurants are nearby, and the cleaner came daily with fresh towels. It was very clean.

Hot water was the one saving grace in bathrooms that felt like caves. There were no towel rails, clothes hooks, or shelves for shampoo and shower gel. The cleaners only came at the start of the week, and during our seven-night stay the towels and bed linen weren’t changed at all.

The photos on the booking site and website were completely misleading. What was presented as luxury felt like a substandard old house: broken sofa beds, no hot water, and an unhappy reception that wouldn’t take complaints into account. The toilet was extremely small and had a technical problem that caused flooding. Overpriced and terrible accommodation.

Calling these luxury suites is a stretch. They may once have been nice, but now they feel old and dated. There was black mold in lots of places, and I found a huge slug inside that clearly hadn’t just oozed in since the last cleaning. Some updates would help, too: the dishwasher wouldn’t open, and the bed was old and sagging.
