Akti Ouranoupol

The view is beautiful, and that's about it. I booked a room through "Grecos" a year ago, but when I arrived, I was told they didn't have a room for me. I'd paid extra for a sea-view room and got a different room of a much lower standard. I've attached a photo of the bathroom I booked and the one I received, which you can see was much lower standard. After many calls and a day later, I got another room for 4 people, still without a sea view. The internet connection didn't work, and neither did the air conditioning. After a few days and many conversations, I still didn't have a better room. The worst part was the food. It didn't change, and was the same every day. Lunch and dinner were the worst, with just a few disgusting options. I spent 1000 eur on food for my children in restaurants because nobody in my family wanted to eat there. The centre is more than 3 kilometers away, with no sidewalk, so you need a taxi and pay 8 eu each way. The most expensive and worst vacation of my life. I'll never come back.

We had an unforgettable 7 days here and are so glad we chose this hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily, the beach was crystal clear and only a minute away, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff were so friendly. Everything was simply wonderful, and I'd highly recommend it for a vacation 😊

It was our first time in this part of Halkidiki. There's not much to see, just resorts, and Akti was one of them. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel is right on the beach. You go through an under-road tunnel to reach the beach bar and sunbeds. Every employee was kind and helpful, with special thanks to Pakistan brothers Tamu and Ali! We stayed in standard family rooms, cleaned every day. The food was excellent and very tasty, though they could perhaps add a few more breakfast options.

The beach is wide, with enough sunbeds for everyone. It's sandy, though there are some stones near the water. It's a blue flag beach and the water is very clean. We didn't need the pool with such a nice beach nearby. The pool is always empty, as there are chairs there but no sunbeds. Our sea-view room on the first floor had a great view from the balcony. The hotel was recently renovated, and the room and bathroom felt fresh. There was daily cleaning, and the bed linen was changed every second day. The only thing missing for us was a safe in the room. The hotel has its own beach with free sunbeds. Food was nothing special, but there was always some variety with fish and meat. The fruit could be better, and it was very annoying that smoking is allowed in the outdoor eating areas. Service could improve. The location is quiet and actually very good, just a few kilometres from Ouranoupolis, with cafes, restaurants, and shops selling monastery goods. A taxi costs just 7 euro one way. It's a decent hotel with room to improve, and I'd love to come back.
