We stayed for a few nights in Sep'22, two adults and a small child. The apartment was clean, roomy enough, and had what we needed. From the terrace we could see the lovely garden and the sea. The owner’s friendly cats were a bonus for us, our little son got to play with them each day. Thanks to the Grandes Apartments team, Lefteris and Maria, for a really good stay!

Our stay at Grandes Appartments from July 12-24th, 2018, in apt. no 3 was a personal and memorable experience. It was just 30 meters from Kouremenos beach, behind the cosy outdoor restaurant, and we came mainly to windsurf, swim in the beautiful bay, and enjoy a remote Greek destination without mass tourism. The family gave us a warm welcome and looked after us with extraordinary flexibility throughout. They even brought restaurant food to our private terrace. Everything was kept clean and tidy, and they were personally involved with their guests. The apartments are well maintained, and the owners keep looking for ways to improve comfort. The small complex has six apartments and an outdoor restaurant, right by the beach. It’s family owned and run, and was the first establishment on this remote beach back in 1991. We’d like to thank them for a genuine taste of Greek hospitality.

This review is very late, but we visited in november 2021. Leftekis was one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met. He even came from Heraklion to greet us, bringing his sweet little dog Pakis. The apartment was lovely and clean, right by a nice beach. Leftekis also gave us oil, honey, Raki, and some oranges. Just wonderful!

This is easily the best place I’ve stayed in Crete. The people are great, and there’s a very good tavern right in front. If you’re lucky, you might get to see how honey is collected. Thanks, Lefteris and Maria.
