We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and the rooms were clean with modern decor. It’s the best hotel in the area, with private parking and air conditioning in the room. In the afternoon, sit on the dining porch with a beer or coffee and take in the beautiful monotones from the hotel.

The views at breakfast, across the pool to the mountains and olive groves, were stunning. We spent a week here in July 2019, and Anna was a great host as well as a cocktail maker. Her staff were friendly, polite, and professional. The hotel is ideally placed, just a five minute walk from Palekastro village centre and its great restaurants. Thanks, Anna, for a wonderful stay xxx

What stood out most was how helpful and friendly all the staff were. After we got home, we realized we’d left something in our room. The hotel quickly packed it and shipped it to another hotel on Crete where our friends were staying, so they could bring it home. We stayed at Hiona Holiday Hotel during our summer vacation in 2022. It was very clean and pleasant, with a nice large pool, a good breakfast, and shampoo we liked in the bathroom. The quiet location is still within walking distance of the centre, and we drove to the beach easily. We’d recommend the hotel very much.

The pool was fantastic, and the hotel has its own car park. It’s also well placed for day trips to beaches such as Vai. Our room was nice and tidy, with a good bed, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was wonderful. Town is just a short walk away, with some good tavernas, and there’s a fantastic fish restaurant down at the beach. I’ll recommend this hotel to all my friends.
