Relax Paleochora

My wife, our 2 daughters, and I had the best time at this lovely hotel on the west side of the Paleohora peninsula. The rooms were spacious and cleaned regularly by hardworking housekeepers, and the pool and gym were excellent. Olga managed the whole place generously and had a great rapport with her team. The front-of-house staff made us feel welcome throughout. Theo was always cheerful and took time to point out good places to visit; Georgia shared local tips and even took time out to bring us on a beautiful hike. Elena ran breakfast efficiently and with a friendly manner. She also runs an excellent wine bar in town, which is a must see.

We had a fabulous last-minute stay at Relax hotel, and it was very good value. The room was a cut above and really comfortable, with an amazing shower. Olga was super helpful with restaurant and local walk recommendations, and all the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

The way the team stood by us when our son had a serious health problem is something we won't forget. Their compassion meant a lot during a hard time. It also made us think about how limited urgent medical care is in Paleochora and the surrounding area. We hope local authorities strengthen healthcare there, and that community businesses like Relax Hotel can help push for change. Better services would matter to residents and visitors alike, and support the region's future. We'd just returned from our trip and wanted to thank everyone at Relax Hotel. The place is small and welcoming, with a peaceful feel and no sense of mass tourism. We had some worries before arriving, but found a very personal atmosphere, spotless rooms and regular fresh towels and linens. The rooms were well furnished, too. Everyone was kind, from reception and service to housekeeping. The housekeepers stayed polite and attentive even though we didn't share a language. Breakfast was another bright spot, with a varied, tasty spread prepared with obvious care each morning. It was a memorable, heartwarming stay. We hope Relax Hotel always keeps its special atmosphere, and send our warm thanks to the whole team.
