Chrousso Village Resort

The Fundeer Team did a great job keeping the kids entertained, especially Zosia, Klaudia, and Kasia. I hope Łukasz comes back to Chrousso 🙂. It was a clean, tidy place that felt family-friendly, and there was a good range of food even in the low season.

Some of the staff were really nice, and there seemed to be plenty of entertainment for children. The rest of the stay was a struggle. The pool was always chaotic, and the beach was miles away and pretty chaotic too. There were no drawers in the room for clothes, and it was never cleaned properly, just fresh towels and the bed made. Glasses and spoons were being washed in the bathroom sink. I took a dirty glass to reception to complain. The receptionist understood, but the manager came over and had a go at her. His attitude was the worst I’ve seen. The food was the worst I’ve had in Greece, even though I’ve been many times and usually love the food there. It was cold, overcooked, mass-produced garbage. The included drinks were worse: the wine was undrinkable, and the soft drinks had far too much sugar.

The staff were lovely and always available, and the water was smooth and great. The beach is just a five-minute walk away. Our room wasn’t very good because we were placed in one of the older buildings, but we’d definitely come back. I absolutely recommend it.

We loved the fresh air in summer, with the hotel set among the forest, and enjoyed the sunbeds beneath the trees. There’s plenty of fun each evening, especially for younger guests. The food and choice were great too. The staff were helpful and nice, doing their best to make sure guests enjoyed their stay.
