Asterion Apartments

We love staying here and are already looking forward to coming back next year. The pool is a good size and impeccably maintained, with plenty of loungers in sun or shade. At the pool bar you can get snacks, ice cold beer and delicious home cooked meals. Panormo has lots of lovely spots for a meal or a coffee, and there are water sports and boat trips too. It’s also well placed for exploring the rest of magical Crete. This is our fourth visit, and it’s always a comfortable, relaxed family holiday. Emy and Stella work tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome and cared for. The traditional apartments are spacious and well equipped, with clean bedding and towels provided often. The small block is up the hill from the village, among plants and flowers, and every apartment has a large terrace with a sea view.

I mostly come on Sundays to get away from Rethimno's overcrowded beaches. I’ve been visiting every summer since 2012, and the pool bar has always been in impeccable condition. It’s easy to reach, with parking, and the spot overlooking Panormo bay is magnificent. They have nice snacks and ice cream, and a cold beer by the pool tastes like a million bucks. There’s a spacious, thoughtfully laid out public WC and changing room. After nearly a decade of visits, I really have nothing bad to say.

We love these apartments so much that this was our fourth time back. The family who run the place are so nice, the apartments are very clean, and the pool is beautiful. The food is lovely too. Even the locals come to swim here 😊 Panormos village has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, and Crete is such a beautiful island. We’ll definitely be back again.

Stella and Emy are wonderful hosts, thank you so much! The room was spacious, neat and tidy, and the place was clean and reasonably priced. There’s a nice pool and a good pool bar, plus the most amazing view in Panormo.
