Idili Traditional House

The town has a lovely small-town feel, with a good range of tasty restaurants, and there’s a gorgeous free beach just a three-minute walk from the guesthouse. We stayed at Idili for four days, and the breakfast was delicious and filling every day, with homemade jams, fresh cheese, fruit, and juice. Markos was friendly, generous, and quick to help whenever we needed something. As soon as we arrived, we were treated to homemade vanilla and cherry ice cream. My husband still talks about it!

Markus made sure everything was taken care of and that we could have a relaxed, enjoyable holiday. The room was lovely and clean, and we were given some local treats. The place is right by the village centre but remains very quiet. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

I loved staying at Idili Traditional House in Panormo, Crete. Marcos, the owner, is calm, kind, and very friendly. I spent a lot of time unwinding in the garden, which is a really special place. A wonderful stay, five stars and more! 🪸🤍🦀🐚🐠🥰

We stayed in Idili in September 2021, in the Jasmin two-level apartment. It had two bathrooms and an upstairs balcony, and the interior and exterior details were carefully chosen. The apartment was cozy and stylish, with everything needed for cooking. Shops, taverns, an ATM, bakery, tour agencies, car rental, and several small beaches are all nearby. The house is old and very beautiful, in the picturesque village of Panormo. Markos, the owner, is so friendly and helpful that he greets guests like old friends and does his best to meet their requests. He often treated us to fruit, pies, or homemade wine and beer. The language difference wasn’t an obstacle. My husband hardly speaks English, but he and Marcos understood each other perfectly using a voice translator. I recommend Idili and would definitely return on our next visit to Crete.
