Katerina

The beach, with a few taverns nearby, is around 6-7 minutes away on foot. We stayed at Katerina’s for a week and had a delightful time. Our room was clean, spacious enough, and equipped with everything we needed. Katerina has decorated the whole place beautifully, which gives it a really cozy feel. We'd be glad to come back.

The house sits among lovely olive and citrus trees, while the beach, mini market, and lots of tavernas are only about a five-minute walk away. Katerina and everyone else were so friendly and kind to us. We had the best time and would definitely return.

We spent nine days here and really enjoyed Panormos. The location is peaceful, mostly surrounded by trees and hills with only a few other properties nearby, yet the town and beach are an easy five-minute walk away. The rooms and apartments sit around a shaded courtyard with tables and chairs for a drink or a bite to eat. Olive and fruit trees surround the property, and I especially liked relaxing in a hammock among the olives. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with a small balcony, bathroom, fridge, WiFi, and air conditioning. It was cleaned and given fresh towels and sheets every few days. Some rooms have kitchen access, though not all do. Emailing Katerina before booking was straightforward, and we felt well looked after.

Katerina was so friendly and gave us great suggestions for places to go, eat, drink, and visit at the beach. She welcomed us with water, homemade jam, and cake when we arrived. We had booked a room with a separate kitchen. The room itself was simple but spotless, with a very comfortable bed and toiletries in the bathroom in case we'd forgotten ours. Outside, there was a play area for children, parking, and a garden where the host said we could pick any fruit or vegetables they were growing. The place felt like a little paradise among olive and other trees, and was beautifully decorated. We had five great days in Skopelos. It was our first visit, but definitely won't be our last.
