Maria was there to support us and help make sure we enjoyed our time in Crete and at the villa. We loved staying in this beautiful, quiet place during our holiday.

The villa was lovely, clean, and really well equipped. We got a great starter pack with things like dishwasher tablets, bread, and juice. The walled grounds were a real plus: nice grass, kids’ toys, a pool for a dip, and a covered outdoor eating area. Once you shut the driveway gate, the kids can play within the walls, though you still need to watch them near the pool. The local supermarket is only a two-minute walk away and can be seen from one of the villa balconies, which is very convenient. The place itself doesn’t have great views. My only reason for taking off a star was the inconsistent hot water. There were six of us, and we often had to settle for lukewarm showers. I don’t know if there was an electric booster heater, but if there was, we weren’t told about it.

We loved our four days here. The host managed to get us checked in early, and we had everything we needed. The internet really needs improving, though. Some of us had to work, and it was so slow it was barely usable.

The villa is nice inside, but there isn’t much privacy because it’s next to a supermarket and a builders’ merchant. Check Google Earth first.
