Menori Luxury Suite

Nick and Chara were wonderfully welcoming and generous hosts, attentive without intruding. Their local advice and help made our time in Kalymnos much easier, and their thoughtfulness showed the whole way through our stay. Menori is a fully renovated, spacious traditional cottage, charmingly decorated and set in the peaceful countryside, a short distance from some of the island's most beautiful beaches and bays. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The fridge was stocked with local treats, and each morning there was a generous breakfast to suit different tastes before we headed out to explore. Our stay was unforgettable, and we're very grateful to Nick and Chara for the memories. We can't recommend their cottage highly enough.

Chara & Nick looked after us so well that this became our best Airbnb stay ever. They were in touch over WhatsApp beforehand with all the information we needed, helped with ferry crossing details, and arranged a car for us at a very competitive rate. They even sent their housekeeper to meet us at the ferry in Pothia and guide us to the apartment, making sure we had everything on arrival. The house was immaculate, with really comfortable beds, a hot shower with strong pressure, and lots of little touches you don't spot in the photos. It has a wonderfully calm feeling, and the outdoor seating above a quiet street gets lovely morning sun, so it was great for breakfast. In winter, the house was quite cold when we arrived in Jan-Feb, so Chara & Nick ordered an electric heater for us. The housekeepers did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless, and always let us know in advance when they were coming. They had also filled the fridge with basics and local delicacies, and left fresh bread and fruit. The bathroom had special soaps and shampoos, new bamboo toothbrushes, and natural sponges. There are good restaurants nearby, along with local shops and a large supermarket. A taxi into Pothia for a night out cost only 10 Euros. We felt very well cared for and will definitely book again. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Kalymnos.

Chara and Nick made us feel welcome from the start. They met us at the port, had breakfast ready for our arrival, and helped arrange a rental scooter. They were always friendly and ready to help. We stayed six nights in an apartment that suited two people perfectly, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, and a lovely terrace for breakfast or dinner. The next beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop nearby. For seeing more of Kalymnos and its beautiful beaches, though, a scooter or rental car is much more convenient.

The spacious veranda and its lovely view were a highlight, and the owners had left us plenty of food and drinks for our arrival. The renovated house has everything you might need: two A/C units, good Internet at 12 Mbps, a big-screen smart TV with Netflix, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and an ironing board. It’s also great value for money. One of the best places I’ve stayed on a Greek island in many years, and I’d highly recommend it.
