Xenonas Skopelou Lesvou

Spiros was a huge help planning my hikes. He’s from the village and knows the area’s walks and trails really well. The hotel sits on the edge of the lovely large village of Skopelos, and it seems like a great base for walkers, hikers and mountain bikers. It’s run by a young, warm and energetic couple, Spiros and Catharina, who both speak English very well. Though it’s a boutique place, the price isn’t high. My room had a small ensuite bathroom, a little TV, a fridge, a kettle with tea, free WiFi that worked very well, and a small bottle of water for guests. Breakfast was €7 and could be eaten inside or out on the terrace with a view. It was a generous spread: bread, omelette, Greek yoghurt, honey, cheese, olives, tomatoes, coffee or tea, juice, fresh fruit, plus a daily surprise. There’s also a café with a nice terrace that opens at 6 pm. I’d definitely return if I came back to this part of the island. Highly recommend it.
