High Mill Paros

The sea views from the location were nice, but our stay at High Mills Paros Hotel, Parikia left us disappointed. The online photos are misleading. The hotel wasn’t well maintained, and our room felt dated and unclean, with worn furniture and a musty smell. The bathroom was cramped and unpleasant, with weak water pressure that was mostly cold, and rusty, dirty drain covers in the shower. The air conditioning barely worked, so the heat was hard to tolerate. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable; we had to ask for an extra foam mattress just to make them bearable. Noise carried from down the corridor in the middle of the night because the rooms aren’t soundproof. Breakfast had little variety and low-quality options. Staff were polite, but didn’t seem particularly welcoming or helpful, and made little effort to improve our stay. It felt very overpriced for what we got. I left disappointed and wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to others visiting Paros. There are definitely better options nearby.

The hotel is well maintained and professional, and the team was quick to respond to every request. The evening receptionist was patient and professional even though we weren’t familiar with the hotel system. She made sure we figured everything out and helped with directions and recommendations for Paros. A complete lifesaver. Perfect 🌹

Check-in and checkout were easy thanks to the super friendly front desk staff. The room was updated, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The pool is lovely, with a great sea view, and the hotel has a large parking area. The location is convenient for the center. I’d stay here again.

The views from our sea-facing room were unbeatable, and we could see the sunset too. The pool was beautiful and clean, and our beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had been renovated, and the room had air conditioning. Everything was as advertised, and the hotel was pretty, clean, and well kept. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but the staff went out of their way to help with whatever we needed. The spot just outside Parikia was ideal, away from the noise but still close enough to walk into town. The port is about 20 minutes away on foot. Getting into town was easy and quick. As other reviews mention, about five minutes of the route follows a busy main road, though there’s a sidewalk the whole way except for the first 100 meters from the hotel, so the walk still felt safe and convenient.
