3BD Apartment in the Center

Restaurants and supermarkets are an easy walk away, and the studio is close to downtown. Despite that, it stays quiet at night. It's roomy enough, clean and comfortable, with a small kitchenette.

The owner is very kind, and the house is right in central Patras. A large pedestrian street with places for coffee, drinks and food is right next door.

I booked through Booking and got the usual confirmation. On the expected date, money was taken from my account, but a few days later Booking notified me that the payment hadn't gone through and that I needed to update my card details. I called the accommodation, upset, and asked the owner what had happened. He said, “we don't steal people's money,” and that he'd look into it on Monday, since it was Saturday. I sent proof of the booking and transaction on Viber too, but got no reply. Then on Monday the money was suddenly credited back to me. I called again and again to find out whether my booking was still valid and why I'd been refunded while it was still active on Booking. He never answered. I messaged through Booking and got nothing. I emailed to request a free cancellation and asked him not to charge me again. Thankfully, that was accepted and the booking was cancelled. The gentleman is unacceptable. No explanation. From the reviews I read, he's done this before. He's awful. Stay away!

It's close to the center of Patras, and the accommodation was clean and warm. The kitchen had everything you need.
