Pella House Studios & Apartments

Theo and his parents work incredibly hard to make you feel like part of the family. I haven’t stayed anywhere quite like Pella House. His mum’s burgers are amazing, and cost around €5. The hotel is great value, close to the amenities and the Old Town. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you’re two minutes from the beach, shops, and restaurants. It’s near everything but sits in a peaceful spot with a lovely garden. Pella House also has a good-sized pool, a great bar, and really good bar snacks until 8pm.

We spent eight days at Pella House and loved it. We like apartment-style hotels, so it suited us really well. The host was lovely, and the location was great, very close to the beach and handy for exploring the city.

A calm and pleasant place. I’d recommend it to everyone.

I spent 11 nights at Pella House Hotel and am already hoping to return soon. Theo looked after us from the moment we arrived until we left. His parents help run the hotel, and they’re lovely. His mum’s burgers are the best, so good that people come over from other bars to eat them. The apartments are basic, but have what you need for self-catering: a kettle, toaster, pots and pans, a two-ring hob, TV, and air conditioning. Everything was spotless, including the pool area, and there was no rush for sunbeds. The beach and shops are both a two-minute walk away. Don’t let the official star rating put you off, the positive reviews are right.
