The mornings were a real highlight, with fresh breakfast choices and plenty of variety. Our room was spotless and well cared for, and the staff were warm and ready with answers or recommendations whenever we needed them. We had a wonderful time at Apricus Suites and would gladly recommend it to anyone coming to Santorini.

We wanted a quiet, relaxed stay close to the beach and plenty of restaurants, and this worked perfectly. The hotel is calm, which suited us, and our outdoor hot tub was huge and lovely for two. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. I booked six months ahead after reading TUI and TripAdvisor reviews, then got nervous when I saw the Google reviews. There was no need to worry, our stay was just right. If you’re after a bar or restaurant on site, this probably isn’t the place, but for a luxurious, peaceful break, I’d highly recommend it.

The breakfast is served at the table, with yogurt, fruit, breads, pastries, honey, jam, a boiled egg, and a small plate of vegetables and cold cuts. The cheese and meat choices rotate, but remain limited, and it felt repetitive after a few days. Juice was fresh rather than concentrate, though coffee was only filter. Extras such as scrambled eggs, omelets, and muesli cost quite a bit, with an omelet at €10, which we thought was overpriced. Our Superior room was much larger than expected, had plenty of storage, and looked like the online photos. It was cleaned daily. The hotel is tucked on a quiet side street in Perissa, yet the beach promenade with bars and restaurants is under five minutes away, and a supermarket is about as close in the other direction. The village is a ten-minute walk, though not especially scenic. We heard no ventilation noise in the room or by the pool, despite what some past reviews mentioned. The place has a small, boutique feel and is very thoughtfully designed. The pool is large for the size of the property and makes a lovely centerpiece. Staff are helpful when asked, while otherwise giving you space. There are no elaborate welcome drinks, spa or wellness facilities, or pool bar, but we were happy with the peaceful atmosphere. Some guests mention salty shower water, which is normal given Santorini’s local water conditions. Despite the limited breakfast options, we were very pleased with our stay. It’s a lovely choice for a quiet break with easy beach access and spacious rooms.

The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices, and the place itself felt magical, clean, and picturesque. The pool was possibly the cleanest I’ve ever seen. One inconvenience was the lack of a bartender by the pool, which felt unexpected for a hotel at this level and price. I’d also suggest providing bottled water each day, since the salty tap water isn’t drinkable. I think that should be included in the price.

Apricus Suites refused to let my elderly parents check in, even though I’d told them well ahead of time and offered their full IDs and the original credit card. They then kept the entire booking payment, which I’d prepaid. Their “non-transferable” explanation is a sham, just fine print to hide behind while pocketing your money. Blatant thieves dressed up as hoteliers.
