Atlantis Beach Villa

The hotel is in a peaceful spot, near restaurants and bars, and practically right on the beach. Rooms were very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the pool was nice. Free beach sunbeds were a bonus. Breakfast was basic but enough. We had a great holiday and will definitely return.

The reception team were so helpful, arranging our excursions, airport taxi and hire car. We felt completely supported travelling with our five-month-old, and the hotel had everything we needed. Our week was wonderful. We chose bed and breakfast, and the continental buffet had plenty of hot and cold food, fruit and pastries. The pool and bar were clean and well cared for, the staff were always friendly, and the beach was quiet and lovely. We wanted a peaceful, accessible place with decent-sized rooms for our first trip with the baby, and this really delivered. The area is beautiful and quieter than the bigger resorts, a good fit for families or anyone who doesn't want a constant party. Maybe it was the time of year, but I'd happily come back to the same place then.

With a beach and lovely pool only a short walk away, this is a great base. We enjoyed the hotel's simple, charming character, and it made exploring locally easy. You can catch the bus or rent a car to see other parts of the island, and there are loads of bars and restaurants nearby.

The bed was the one real letdown for us. Its mattress was very springy, with springs poking through the fabric, and both my partner, 25, and me, 27, felt sore after sleeping on it each night. It may just have been our room, but comfort could be an issue. Apart from that, it was a calm, relaxing place with a great pool and bar service. The sunbeds and pool were good quality and generally well maintained. Breakfast was simple, though there were enough choices for different guests.
