Istoria, A Member of Design Hotels

We spent our honeymoon in the Storia suite and had an amazing time. The room was beautiful, with stunning views of the Black Sand Beach, and the hotel pool was incredible. What really made the stay memorable was the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful, always greeting us with the biggest smiles. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The breakfast and drinks feel luxurious, and the spa is sublime. The sleek Istoria offers far more bliss, comfort, and elegance than you’d expect for the price. George manages it to perfection, a genuine professional with a playful twinkle in his eye. The staff are attentive and kind without hovering. If you visit Santorini, stay here.

The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking setting made our stay at Istoria feel just right. The design is stunning, the views are incredible, and every part of the experience felt five-star. We were welcomed so warmly by Bismark, our attentive and kind server, on our first day, when we went straight to the Black Beach in front of the hotel. The staff throughout our honeymoon were friendly, personable, and incredibly attentive. There are only 12 rooms, so you really feel looked after. Our room was very clean, and they tidied and replenished it twice a day, while we were out. I had the best massage I’ve ever had at the spa. The whole experience was amazing, and I’d recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone. It really feels like a five-star place.
