Kouros Village Hotel - Adults Only

The people here made our two-week August holiday special. A big shout out to Livan at the bar, who we had a drink with every night before going out and again when we came back. He’s friendly and makes superb cocktails. Athena at reception made us smile and giggle every day, while Vasiliki and Katerina kept our pots of tea coming at breakfast and remembered what we liked. Anssar was always friendly when we ran into him doing his jobs around the hotel. The housekeeping ladies were lovely too and did a fantastic job. Our superior room was perfect, with a little veranda, tucked around the corner from the main area. It was cleaned every day. At check-in, Constanza spent about 20 minutes telling us everything we needed to know about the hotel, our room and the area. We’ve stayed at some swanky hotels, but that was the best welcome we’ve had. It was also great being allowed to take the hotel towels to the beach. After two weeks, our own beach towels would have been pretty worn. The location worked perfectly for us. We liked the beachfront, and every restaurant we tried over the two weeks served us a good meal. On our anniversary, we came back to find a spectacular display of flowers on the bed. It was so beautiful we nearly slept on the sofa to avoid disturbing it. We’d definitely recommend this hotel, and we’ll be back.

The staff are what made this hotel shine for us. Vasilis and the whole team helped make our Santorini holiday one to remember. Athina greeted us at reception and explained everything in detail, and Livan made us a welcome cocktail that was fantastic. I tried several of his cocktails during the stay, and they were all so good. Katerina kept my husband’s coffee topped up each morning and the breakfast area clean. Breakfast itself had a superb variety. Cony was friendly and handled my many questions, and Elona cleaned our room every day. Ansaar works with the chef in the kitchen. We ate at the hotel five times, trying a different meal each visit, and the food was outstanding. It’s a beautiful hotel, the service was excellent, and the setting felt very relaxing. Everything went smoothly from arrival to departure.

Beds were limited, but getting to the beach takes just a two-minute stroll, so it wasn’t a problem for an early riser. Our room was great, and the staff were lovely. Thanks to everyone for making the stay so relaxing. Levan the barman kept me company while I waited for my wife each night and pointed us to some nice bars and a very good restaurant around the corner. We had an excellent stay and would love to return. Nick the Greek is around the corner for quad or buggie hire, a great way to see the island.

We’ve already made plans to come back for a third stay. The hotel is very clean and close to the beach and restaurants, and the staff are amazing, always ready to help. We loved our daily chats and cocktails at the bar with Livan. He makes incredible cocktails. Highly recommend.
