The best part is the location, just a couple of minutes from a beautiful beach and plenty of restaurants and bars. Perissa resort itself is lovely and relaxed, and we had a good week and would come back. The room was basic but clean. The outside looked good, though inside it felt a little dated. A few fixture upgrades would help, especially hooks for hanging things and somewhere to dry towels and swimming costumes. The outdoor seating areas are quite small, and ours was shared with the other room, though that didn’t bother us because we were usually out.

We enjoyed our holiday at Belair, across the road from VP Belair. It’s basic accommodation, but we knew that before we arrived, and the location is great for budget lodging. The rooms were clean, though I’m not sure they’d work for self-catering. We ate out every day, so it wasn’t an issue. The pool we could use was tiny, and we couldn’t get a bed, so we didn’t bother with it. We love the beach anyway. The beds were VERY hard, but the shower was lovely, and all in all we had a good stay.

The rooms were simple but really clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels each day. The pool area was small, though very clean and just right for the number of guests. We had an amazing time at VP BELAIR, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

If you keep your expectations in check, this basic accommodation is fine, though it won’t suit everyone. The staff were great, the atmosphere was friendly, and the location more than makes up for the basics.

The rooms are very basic, as you’d expect from a 2* hotel, but I’d definitely recommend it. The beach is very close, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
