This traditional guesthouse is situated in the village of Elati, which is perched on the slopes of Mt. Koziakas, in the district of Trikala. There is a choice of outdoor activities available in the surrounding areas, such as skiing at the Pertouli Ski Centre or mountain climbing in Kokkinos Vrahos, as well as horse riding, quad and mountain biking and a variety of winter sports. Facilities and services are designed to satisfy the needs and requirements of the guests. Breakfast can be served either in the rooms or in the sunny breakfast room with panoramic views of the fir covered mountains. Each room with its wooden floors and stone walls has been decorated in a distinct style. We stayed four nights in this beautiful traditional guesthouse, surrounded by peaceful scenery. The village and hotel felt very safe, and the villagers were friendly. Our room was clean and cosy, with fresh towels each day. Mrs Anastasia and her daughter Olga were so attentive, checking when we returned from our outings to see how our day had gone or whether we needed anything. Breakfast was fresh and homemade by Mrs Anastasia, with something different each morning, all made by her. She lit the open fire before guests came down, so the breakfast lounge was warm and we could hear it crackling. I’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

The location is handy for Elati’s cafes and bars, and the lobby is nicely decorated with a fireplace and board games guests can use. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were great, offering helpful travel tips and ready to answer my questions about routes. The rooms were impeccably clean, with stunning views of the Elati forest. I’d highly recommend Fretzato Guesthouse for a comfortable, convenient stay.

The owners were extremely kind and suggested different activities to help us enjoy the area. It’s a decent, clean hotel in a nice spot in Elati, close to the Pertouli ski center and Neraidochori village. Breakfast was simple, homemade and lovely. Still, I don’t think the room’s amenities justify paying 85 € per night, even during the tourist season.

A cozy hotel in the middle of Elati, with really comfortable beds. We had to book at the last minute after a mixup with our earlier accommodation, and the owner was welcoming and very helpful.

My husband and I spent two very happy nights here while enjoying Elati village and the surrounding area. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and cosy, and breakfast was delicious.
