Galini Hotel

We found the place easily, and the neighbourhood felt safe and sound. It was handy being able to walk to grocery stores and use public transport to get around. Staff were friendly and cordial, and they provided a small bottle of water. We occasionally heard a church bell. Our room had no view and felt quite small for two people at 223 sq ft, though it was cozy enough for one night. The lifts are really small too.

There was no sound insulation, so nighttime noise carried right into the room. I heard someone showering at 2:00 AM. Light was a problem too: the bathroom window faced a bright streetlight, and with a glass bathroom door and no curtain or covering, it shone straight inside.

The beds and decor were wonderful, and everything was super clean and quiet. It feels deluxe, with a lovely spot near the marina, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to the port. A hidden gem in Athens!

The location was terrible, and the room was hard to stay in. The windows couldn't be opened, and the AC barely worked, so we couldn't breathe in there. The bathroom door is oddly designed and won't close. It isn't broken, it's just made that way.
