At night I could see people passing by our door through the gap around it, and cigarette smoke drifted into the room from people smoking in the alley outside the window. Those were the main downsides. The room itself was small but generally clean, though there were whiskers by the sink from someone who'd shaved before us. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there was a fridge, but no tea or coffee making facilities, which I wasn't necessarily expecting. It cost 35€ for a double and was about 500m from Port Gate 8. We only saw staff briefly, but they were friendly and efficient. For a cheap overnight stay, you could probably find worse.

The street was quiet and I slept well. It's right by the port, handy for a quick overnight stay before or after a ferry to the islands. One of the cheapest places around, and the old backpacker-style rooms reflect that. Hot shower and strong Wi-Fi.

The room was clean, but the bed felt like cement, and the shower was a handheld wand while you sat on the toilet. Neither the window nor the door locked. Outside felt scary as hell, and it wasn't a good area. If you're staying near the port, I'd go farther south toward the main passenger terminal at gate 12. You get what you pay for, but I'd never stay here again, or at any of the hotels within a few blocks.

It's clean and comfortable, right in front of the dock. A great choice for a single night before setting off on a sailing trip.
