The breakfast was good, and the waiters were lovely and quick to help when we needed anything. We had a good view, and the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Reception staff were lovely too, apart from Harry, who came across as quite rude and cold. We booked a cheap package for a quick, last-minute getaway. The bathroom was covered in drain flies, and there was mould in the grout, as you can see in the pictures. We talked about changing rooms, but since we spent so little time there, we didn’t think it was worth it. Still, it didn’t go unnoticed. The room itself was okay, just a bit outdated, and we couldn’t figure out how to use the air-con.

The staff were very nice, welcoming, and helpful, and I found the small rooftop pool just right. The hotel food was okay, though you can’t have food delivered there. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and a 10 min taxi ride gets you to the marina for more choices. The rooms feel a bit dated and the showers aren’t great.

We found the staff extremely kind and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was generous and varied, and the rooms were spacious and warm, a welcome detail when traveling near Christmas. Theoxenia Palace Piraeus is a great choice for a successful city trip, with a convenient location close to everything you might need. If you arrive by car, the underground parking is a big plus and brings real comfort and peace of mind.

For a single night, this hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The price I was quoted at reception seemed so low I thought it had to be a numerical mistake, so I asked them to confirm it. The breakfast was hearty, with plenty of choices for different diets and appetites, and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was fairly spacious, though the view wasn’t anything special. The bathroom was clean and had all the useful basics, including three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, slippers, clean, fairly new towels, and cotton swabs. The bed was comfortable, the heating was satisfactory, the furniture was tasteful and functional, and the television was a good size and properly set up. One note about the price: I’d tried booking through a well-known platform, where the supposed special offer was at least 20 euros more expensive. We weren’t sure we’d stay overnight in Piraeus, so I didn’t book online. I think I probably won’t do so again! :-)

The location was spot on for what we needed. The room layout was pleasant, the bed extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean. Good quality facilities, friendly and efficient staff, and the restaurant served excellent food with great service. Superb accommodation, would recommend.
