Damnoni Paradise

The gardens are peaceful and the location is wonderful, but the staff felt intrusive and the quiet hours are far too restrictive. After 10 pm you can’t even talk quietly. We also got a notice after 15 minutes for playing music below medium volume on a small speaker at 8 pm.

We got this accommodation at a very good price. The sheets were very clean, towels were changed daily when needed, and the trash was taken out every day. A few things I couldn’t find out when booking may vary depending on the person or time of year. During our stay in July 2023, there was a very strong wind. At night the windows and doors rattled because they didn’t close tightly, so it was hard to sleep. The garden is beautiful and full of trees, but the cicadas were very loud in the mornings. We had a balcony, but the quiet hours begin at 22. When we got back from dinner, we couldn’t even chat outside. I hadn’t expected the silence rules to mean no talking on the balcony.

Even on a very windy day, it was calm here. This little paradise is full of greenery, with a beautiful garden, playground, ping pong, and an athletics room. Damnoni beach is only a couple hundred meters away. The owners are polite too.

The parking spaces are a bit tight, so keep that in mind if you have a big car. The bathroom was small, with only a shower curtain, so you have to be careful. Opening or closing the sliding windows, blinds, and screen made a lot of noise. I can’t say we had a good experience. A big spider was next to our bed when we woke up, and a grasshopper showed up on the iron each morning. Apart from that, there wasn’t much to mention.
