Plakias Resorts

The apartments are roomy, with plenty of space and balconies, and the large pools have a nice, laid-back feel. Breakfast was included and had lots of options, including local food. It does feel like a tourist factory, with people gathered in one place, though the atmosphere is still fairly quiet. I can see why many people would like it, but personally I wouldn't come back.

We were welcomed with a fruit basket, water, and wine in the apartment. It was a little warm when we arrived because of the energy-saving approach, but the two powerful air conditioners cooled it quickly. The friendly, very helpful staff also gave us a great apartment with a view of two of the many pools and the sea, and there's plenty of parking. Families have a big pool area with the children's activities, including table tennis, a playground, a grass field, and a paddle court. For those looking for a quieter spot to sunbathe, other pools around the resort offer calm and plenty of sunshine. The beach is only a minute away, practically a roll rather than a stroll. There's a beach bar with sunbeds that we believe belongs to the resort, plus other beach bars on either side. The beach runs all the way toward the city beside Plakias Resorts. This was an unforgettable stay, and we'll come back!

The town has plenty of tavernas and restaurants serving local food, and it felt easy to enjoy them without heavy traffic or overwhelming crowds. There are good hiking surroundings and quiet bays for snorkeling, too. The town beach is more than OK, though you can find better ones within a 30-minute drive. Greetings from Poland! For a family holiday, this is an excellent location. The property is well placed and maintained, and the hospitality came through on many occasions. I'd give it four stars rather than its official three. This is just how a perfect Greek holiday should feel, highly recommended.

We're having a wonderful time in our studio. The gardens and hotel grounds are full of flowers and so clean, I keep looking around because I love it. The beach right in front has umbrellas and sunbeds included, which is perfect. Plakias village is small and relaxing, with a supermarket within walking distance and lots of nice beach bars and tavernas. Everyone has been so friendly. We'll definitely come back.
