Villa Nostos Plakias

The host was incredibly nice and helpful about everything. We had one of our best vacations here, with a fantastic view and sunset, a huge pool, and what felt like a nearly private beach. Everything was modern and luxurious, and the location was super.

We’re already counting down to 2025. Those 11 days at Villa Nostos felt like paradise, and we haven’t felt this comfortable and excited since the Maldives. Sofia is simply wonderful, thanks for everything! We were there in the off-season, had perfect weather, and found the villa even more beautiful than the pictures. It has a special atmosphere, with lots of space, light, and style. It’s elegant, modern, and very clean. The amenities are excellent, from the Nespresso machine to the hair straightener. The huge windows give you an unobstructed view of the sea from inside, and the orientation also means wonderful sunsets. We loved hearing the sea nearby. The small beach with its mini coves is just across the street and very child-friendly. The villa is at the entrance to the village, so it’s quiet, though the first taverna and its little beach bar are 50 meters to the left. I imagine it may get busier in summer. Plakias has a remarkable range of restaurants, cafes, bars, and supermarkets. The bay is huge, and there are other great big beaches close by. We hardly left the villa, since the loungers, lounge furniture, and private pool with a view were enough for us. In the evenings, we ordered and picked up food from restaurants. Our 11-month-old baby was safe inside and out, except for the steps by the pool, and could crawl and play freely. Sofia also provided a good travel cot. We’ll be back in 2025.

Spotlessly clean, with friendly service and a lovely location. For me, it’s the best villa in all of Plakias.

A beautiful house, with its greatest advantage being the unlimited view across the Libyan Sea. I recommend it.
