Olympus Thea Boutique Hotel

The rooms were decent, but for what we paid, the stay fell short, and we wouldn't come back. There wasn't much for children to do beyond two swings. The pools were the worst part: flies, leaves, dirt, and black grime on the bottom tiles made them look neglected and unhygienic. Food was okay, though dessert meant just one option, often the same each day. When watermelon was served, there were only a few pieces and they weren't replenished.

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the buffet had a huge spread of good quality food that changed each day. We went as a family in late August 2024 and had one of our best vacations. The view toward Aigaio Pelagos was another highlight. It felt like everyone at the hotel helped make the stay so enjoyable. My only suggestion would be an activity for kids besides the pool, maybe a movie night. That's my personal experience and opinion, though I think many other guests would agree.

We spent three days here for our honeymoon and really loved it. The balcony looked out at Platamona castle, and our room was very clean. The staff were warm and easy to reach whenever we needed help. Meals came buffet style, with a range of traditional Greek dishes. I'd suggest the all inclusive option since it provided drinks such as coffee and juice through much of the day. The one letdown for me was the coffee itself, which was only average.

The room was tidy and had a great view, though there was no luggage stand. Reception were helpful and kind. What really let us down was the food and service. The Chef wouldn't provide french fries for our 18-month-old grand-daughter, even when we offered to pay, so we had to go to another hotel downtown to get some. At the Easter buffet, waiters focused on a large tourist group and left other guests unattended. The restaurant felt crowded, with a narrow, cramped dining area. The playground was dirty and packed with children. Given the high room price and poor service, it was very poor value.
