We ate at the restaurant and got a pork tomahawk, chicken fillet with dijon sauce, and a nice bottle of wine. The bill was €63, which felt like a bargain. 😋

The sea-view double room was nice, but the standards didn't feel like four stars, and I won't return. Breakfast was a big disappointment: horrible, cheap-tasting filter coffee, no fresh orange juice, and cold cuts so papery I couldn't eat them. Greece has plenty of oranges, yet they charged me 4 euros for a small fresh juice when I'd seen it for 2-2.50 euros elsewhere. I asked for soft-boiled eggs and explained how I wanted them, but got warm, raw eggs. The woman in the kitchen seemed completely unprofessional. The milk was so fatty I couldn't even stand its smell, when normally you'd use 1.5% fat. The toilet paper was also very thin and cheap. I was there on my birthday and they took and read my passport details, but no one even wished me happy birthday. That was really sad.

We stopped at the hotel's restaurant for brunch in August. The staff were nice enough, and the coffee was very good, but the view rated only 2/5. The meal was 3/5 for taste and 2/5 for value: a dish costing over €9 came in a tiny portion. They'd also removed all the tables by the sea, leaving seating across the road. The food side could definitely improve.

The best part of our stay at Porto Marine hotel was waking up to the sea view from the balcony and catching the sunrise each morning. It was my first visit to Platamonas, and I can't wait to come back. The room was exceptional, especially the leds and balcony, and it was cleaned every afternoon. The staff were great, too. Breakfast had a wide choice of delicious food, and the meals overall were great. It was such a relaxing, unforgettable experience. 🌊

The location at Porto Marine Hotel was great, and the rooms were elegant in a safe, secure setting. We had a memorable trip thanks to the excellent service, friendly staff, and warm hospitality. I'd recommend the place 100%, and I hope to stay again.
