Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Porto Heli

The rooms are huge, around 80 square metres, with fantastic balconies overlooking the sea. It’s a spotless, full-service hotel with a restaurant, bar, spa, rooftop private beach, and polite, friendly service. Hard to ask for much more.

We paid almost 953€ for two nights and came away very disappointed. The room quality and service weren’t worth the price, and what we found didn’t match the photos or the standards we expected from Nikki Beach. The room felt misrepresented: the interior layout was unlike the booking photos, and there wasn’t a real sea view except from the balcony. The rooftop furniture and jacuzzi were old and damaged, which wasn’t acceptable at this price. The jacuzzi was dirty when we arrived, despite our specific request for extra cleaning beforehand. Reception was painfully slow and indifferent. Service seemed pared back because the hotel was about to close for the season. Even the bar had no fresh fruit. The parking and breakfast teams were the only ones who seemed to make an effort. The online photos were misleading about the room and its condition. This stay fell far short of what we expected from the Nikki Beach brand.

The rooms are large and clean, and the hotel interior is really nice, as expected. The cleaning ladies seem especially well prepared for their work. Staff in general were all friendly, but seemed completely clueless. I doubt many had worked in a hotel or other service job before. They weren’t unwilling to help, they just didn’t seem to know how.

It’s a very quiet resort, sometimes a little too quiet. There isn’t much to do on site beyond the lovely pool area, and the beach looks nice but didn’t feel inviting for swimming or spending the day. So I wouldn’t pick it for kids or for anyone wanting entertainment and a lively atmosphere. For couples after a peaceful, romantic break in an elegant, high-end setting, it works well. The service was professional, attentive, and always came with a smile. Food was excellent in both quality and presentation, with lots of tasty options, and the gym had everything needed for a holiday workout. We had a luxurious stay at Nikki Beach Resort in Porto Heli.
