George was so kind and answered all our questions about the area. He even served bakery treats himself at breakfast. The building is historic and recently renovated, with rooms adapted in a unique way. You can walk to both the port and city center. I hope to return to Kalymnos and stay at Archontiko again.

The warm hospitality made our stay, and the room was worth the price. We booked a two-bed room with an amazing view for 13-14 September 25. Everyone was always smiling and ready to help if we needed anything. There was a good selection of local products at breakfast. They also gave us a local loaf of bread from the heart, and it was so tasty.

Archontiko Hotel is a restored historic mansion dating back to 1860, now open again in the heart of Kalymnos, in Pothia. It’s full of history and memories, and was the most beautiful place we visited on Kalymnos. It welcomes guests who will fall in love with Greek hospitality.
