Katerina Apartments

Everyone was very nice, but the room smelled bad and wasn't clean. There was hair in the shower, and the floor felt sticky.

The pool was great, the rooms were clean, and breakfast each morning was a good continental spread. Yiannis and Ramona and their family made my partner, our three children and me feel welcome, and they were always attentive. I never did manage to get Yiannis's nice white brimmed hat! :) The harbour is close, about a ten-minute walk through lovely streets. In Pothia town we found great places to eat, and Kalymnos has plenty to offer too. We had a lovely trip to Palionisos in the north for good food and snorkelling. The archaeological museum, the castle and Gefira beach are all worth a visit, with the beach about ten minutes on foot from the harbour. We had a wonderful holiday at Katerina Apartments in Pothia, Kalymnos, and I'd highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed here in July 2024 and had a brilliant time in Kalymnos. The location was really convenient, and the food was very good, freshly cooked in the kitchen. The bar was fairly priced too. Rooms offered great value and had working air conditioning, which you really need in Greece in summer. The owners were welcoming and sweet, and you could tell they genuinely cared about the guests. It felt like a family run place.

It feels like a home from home, and I think it deserves a higher rating than two stars. The family are so friendly and accommodating. The pool, bar and grounds are beautifully looked after, and the place is clean and comfortable. It's a family run business that's being improved and refurbished each year. If we come back to Kalymnos, we'll stay here again. Just lovely.
