Alonaki Resort

I especially loved the view from my balcony, and the room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished, with comfort and elegance together. Everything felt carefully maintained. The family-run feel made the stay special. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and the reception team showed me unforgettable kindness and care. The staff were warm and genuinely welcoming throughout. Alonaki Resort is surrounded by olive and lemon groves, with atmospheric lights among the trees that make the grounds feel almost like a fairy tale. The setting is serene, and my visit to Preveza was relaxing and memorable. I’d absolutely return and recommend it.

We only managed one night here while traveling back from Albania, but I hope we can return for longer. The family-run staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. The grounds are immaculate, and you can see the care put into the modern room design. One of the best beaches I’ve been to in Greece is just a five-minute walk away. Town is a short 20-25 minute walk, or a 10-minute drive. If you’re staying in the area, this hotel is amazing and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. We arrived early, but that was fine: we could use the pool area and were served coffee and croissants before getting into our room not long after. There’s plenty to do nearby, with a beautiful sandy beach, a short drive to the ruins of Nicopolis and Preveza, and a couple of restaurants and a beach bar within a short walk. We stopped here overnight on our way to Sivota, and I’d love to come back for a longer stay. It’s a lovely little place off the beaten track, surrounded by a lemon orchard. Our flight was late, so we didn’t arrive until after 5. There isn’t a restaurant, but the poolside bar has substantial snacks. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and pointed us to a great casual fish restaurant by the beach, a 10-minute walk away. After continental breakfast the next day, they let us extend checkout until 1230 and stay by the pool until we left.
