That spot right on the soft sand is hard to beat, and there's an excellent tavern about 50 meters away. The staff were so friendly and caring, though we missed them meeting us at the dock when we arrived. We had a street-level room with a private balcony and sea view, and it was great. The upstairs rooms seem to get lower ratings for good reason: they have a door but no windows, plus a narrow shared balcony. Check the hotel's own site carefully and pay extra if you want to make sure you get the room you prefer. One thing, local kids stay up until midnight and run around noisily in front of the hotel, so bring earplugs.

We rented the large house, which was clean and modernized, with a great shower, a big bedroom and a lovely view over the beach. The beach gets almost empty after 4 p.m. and until 10 a.m. There are nice restaurants nearby run by locals. Georgia was very kind, and we loved our afternoons at the pool bar chatting with the friendly bartender. We had a really pleasant stay, and the Espresso Martini is worth trying.

On a day trip to pserimos beach, we stopped by this beach bar. The drinks were delicious and the food was good too, so I'd recommend it. There's also a hotel with a pool and bar just behind the beach bar, owned by the same person.

Between 11 and 4, the island gets crowded with hundreds of people arriving for the day, and the swimming pool was a nice place to take shelter from it. The room was nice too. Ioanna gets my five stars: she helped me a lot during my stay and always had a lovely smile, making my holiday special.

We stayed on the ground floor at the end of June, and the sea was just one step away. The apartment was spotless, with Wi-Fi and A/C included, and they carried our luggage to and from the port. An amazing place for a vacation. Shout-out to the wonderful Ioanna!
