Hotel Pantelidis

The pizza was especially good, hard to beat, and the service was attentive and prompt throughout. The hotel had a great atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again.

The homemade stone-oven pizza is the one thing I'd recommend. Otherwise, the low price still felt like a rip-off for what's offered, and the breakfast was one of the saddest I've seen. The hotel has cockroaches everywhere, and I've never experienced anything so disgusting. Even if they change the room, that doesn't fix the cleanliness and hygiene problems. The floorboards creak so loudly it sounds like elephants in the hallway. An alarm goes off outside at fairly regular intervals every night, and it has been doing so for the past 14 nights. Sundays bring lawn mowing, and the place is noisy overall, with very little peace. I suspect people may be bribed to give this hotel four stars. One or two stars would be more realistic. Stay away and find somewhere with better hygiene standards.

Friendly staff, and the restaurant stays open for meals until 12 p.m.

The room smelled bad, and after I showered the odor became unbearable. There was a lot of mold, and its smell was obvious too. Before my shower, I went to brush my teeth and purple water came out of the tap. I complained at reception, where I was told it was regular tubing maintenance and that the water would clear if I let it run for a few minutes. The floor squeaked with every step. When people walked along the hallway to their rooms, we couldn't sleep properly. The noise insulation didn't seem sufficient either. There was also a damaged electrical socket outside our room, which seemed extremely dangerous for anyone traveling with small children. The restaurant and bar looked decent, but after this experience I had no appetite to try them. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel. The owners should spend a night there themselves, if they can.
