The second day of our four-day holiday, my friend was showering after we got back from the beach when the glass bathroom door fell on her and shattered on her head. We called an ambulance right away. The paramedics said she was fine, but then the owner demanded 500€ or said he would throw us out. When we chose to leave, he said we had to leave all our luggage and documents behind or call the police. We called them, and he laughed at us to make fun of us. The police still hadn’t arrived after an hour, so we paid the 500€. The door’s frame was really rusty. We also found ants in the kitchen and bed, and the jacuzzi included in the price was incredibly dirty. They didn’t clean it even after we told him. On our last day, when we had to leave for the airport, the owner parked his motorbike behind our car. I’ve never had an experience like this, where the place was in terrible condition, my friend got hurt because of the owner’s lack of care, and we were still charged an extra 500€. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want a nice, relaxing or fun trip.

Don’t go. It was the worst experience ever. I went with my whole family, and they demanded the physical card used for the booking. We had a virtual card, and they wouldn’t accept it. Even though we’d already paid for the house, they left us outside. Thieves! My grandparents are very old and had to wait outside for many hours. The staff were terrible.

The location worked perfectly for us with a car: Kamari Beach was 5min away, Perivolos 15min, Fira 15min, Oia 25min, and Akrotiri 20min. There are great wineries nearby, and Pyrgos is very close, with fantastic views and some good places to eat. We booked a two-room apartment and everything was great. Silvia, the manager, was very helpful, the standard was good, and the daily cleaning was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved the terrace, the hot tub upstairs, and the AC. Everything was fantastic.

The owner was really kind and gave us useful tips about the area. The house was pristine and amazing, with a jacuzzi and sea views. It’s in a small village on the other side from the caldera, but with a car everything is close. We really loved staying there!
