Mayu Suites

Mayu Suites is in a quiet part of Pyrgos, which suited us perfectly. It’s a short walk, about three minutes, to the main road with restaurants, shops, bus stops, and those panoramic views. By car or taxi, the other parts of Santorini are around 15-20 minutes away. We wanted somewhere away from the big crowds, and the area felt welcoming. We never felt unsafe walking back at night. My sister and I stayed three nights, and Jenny helped make the holiday. She sorted a car hire and airport transfer, gave us good local food and activity tips, and let us check out late and leave our bags since our flight to the UK was late. She was lovely, attentive, and helped with everything we needed. The hotel was lovely too. Our bedroom was clean and spacious, with coffee-making equipment, and there was a fridge for our own food and drinks. Breakfast was brought to the room each morning, with choices like eggs, French toast, fruit, and more. The rooftop pool area had breathtaking views, and we spent the day lounging there. Great value for money. Mayu Suites exceeded our expectations, and we’ll stay again when we're back in Santorini. I can’t recommend it enough! A few Santorini tips: Uber rides cost about £35 minimum, so local taxis, buses, or hiring a car are better options. Buses are cheap, around £1.20, and reach the main areas, but sometimes the wait can be an hour. For the classic Santorini photo, head to Oia around 7:30 in the morning before the crowds arrive. If you visit in September, try to line your trip up with the annual volcano fireworks celebration. It was lovely, and we only knew about it because Jenny told us. Thanks for everything, Jenny!
