Pyrgos Terrace House

The owner treated us horribly, lied, and insulted us. He called Russians alcoholics, even though we’re Israeli. Someone else was constantly walking around the property, and the whole experience felt humiliating. We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments and have never been treated this way. At that price, we never expected our vacation to be ruined, and he even lied on Booking.com about us having everything. Horrible, disgraceful behavior from the owner. A nationalist, a scoundrel, and a cheat. The house was neglected inside and out. At the entrance there was a broken chair, a dirty grill in a grimy cover, construction materials, and street lamps with no bulbs. Inside, dust covered everything, dead bugs were scattered around, and ants crawled across the filthy kitchen table. The bathroom sink was in awful condition, and the kitchen faucet wasn’t secured. The TV and air conditioning didn’t work. For four people staying three days, there were only two rolls of toilet paper. There was no bottled water, even though tap water in Santorini can’t be drunk and guests arrive after a long trip. No tea or sugar either, and only four coffee capsules for three days, which didn’t fit the coffee maker. There was no kettle. Nobody took out the trash or did even basic cleaning during our three days, despite cleaning being included in the price. The hot jacuzzi wasn’t even room temperature, just a tub of cold water.
