Nikos was wonderfully warm and couldn’t have been more helpful. The apartment was beautiful, with a great shower and mattress. Pyrgos village is an easy walk away and stunning at sunset, and prices are lower than in Fira. It’s also easy to get around from here.

The photos don’t do Aroma Cavas justice, the views are astounding. It’s in a really handy spot, close to what you need, with lots of good restaurants and easy access to other towns. The pool was too cold for me, but my partner enjoyed it. Nikos was very helpful, offered lots of recommendations, and was happy to help whenever we needed him.

Pyrgos made a wonderful base for exploring the island, and it’s worth spending time in the village itself. It doesn’t feel overrun by tourism. From the top of the hill, the views are breathtaking, with an infinity pool looking out across the island. The family’s vines, sea views, sunsets, and typical white and blue houses scattered across the horizon give the place a special charm. The apartments are modern, clean, and fully equipped. Nikos was attentive, available for whatever we needed, and a great host. We’ve never stayed in a better apartment, and would love to come back one day. Wonderful Greek hospitality!

Pyrgos and the apartment’s location worked really well for us, right in the middle of the island so we could get anywhere in under 30 minutes. The apartment had everything we needed, and the pool and view were amazing. Our host was great at communicating on WhatsApp and checked during the stay to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. I’d recommend staying here.

From the start of the trip right through to the end, Nikos made us feel so welcome. He gave us great advice and made everything comfortable. Honestly, he was the best host we’ve ever met. We’d recommend him anytime :) Nothing bad to say.
