Georgina Old House

Our host gave us a really warm welcome. The little villa is lovely and has a countryside feel, while beaches, restaurants, and even wine tasting are still fairly close.

The top floor apartment was cosy, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and our son, who is on the spectrum, had a great time, especially around the pool. We stayed five days and loved it. The host was friendly and easy to reach whenever we needed him. There are lovely beaches and restaurants nearby. It’s a wonderful country setting for an authentic Greek summer, and I’d recommend it to families or couples.

By the end of our trip, my family didn’t want to leave Villa Georgina. We’d traveled around Greece, from Athens to Delphi, Olympia, Mycenae, Santorini, and more, and this was our favorite place to stay. The cosy villa is in the Katakolo area, with a pool, beaches nearby, and some restaurants. I only wish we’d had more time there.

Dimitri was especially helpful and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious, particularly the homemade jams. We stayed one night toward the end of March, and the room had a perfect, soothing view. Villa Georgina is also quite close to Olympia. I hope we can return when the sea is warm enough for swimming.
