Olea made a lovely base for seeing the Mani peninsula, especially since there isn’t much to do right in the village. The hotel is a traditional stone house, and our “Thea” room was really nice. Dora was a fantastic host, and the a-la-carte breakfast was excellent.

Dora really understands hospitality. The guesthouse itself was beautiful, with carefully designed rooms and excellent service. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was generous and filling. It made the whole stay feel complete, and it’s definitely worth experiencing. I highly recommend it as a place to explore all of Laconian Mani.

Between Areopoli and Gerolimenas, Olea is well placed for seeing the middle part of Mani, and the Caves of Diros are only five minutes away. It’s a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful setting, warm hospitality, and a great breakfast to start the day.

We felt at home here thanks to the warm atmosphere and the very polite, helpful team. Breakfast was full of flavor and generous, too. You order, sit back at your table, and they bring it over. I’d happily return on my next visit to Mani, and would recommend the hotel as one of the best in the area.

Pyrgos Dyrou is a small, peaceful village, but you’re close to the busier and better known spots. Limeni is 15 minutes away, Gerolimenas 15 minutes, and Areopoli 10minites, so it’s a handy base for exploring Mani with a partner, friends, or family. The rooms are stylish, very clean, well cared for, and really well organized, with AC, smart TV, and WiFi. The hosts were so kind and helpful. Every day they checked whether we wanted to change our breakfast order or needed anything else. That’s how hospitality should be. We’d love to visit Olea again. Thank you for looking after us.
