Astra Village

The hostess is lively and really sweet, and there's a magnificent view from many rooms. You can also get a cooling breeze from the sea or mountains, and the basic necessities are covered. It's a cheaper place, I think two stars, so don't expect a big bathroom, perfect rooms, or a great breakfast. And getting back to the hotel means walking uphill each time. Take a look at the view and you'll see why. Might be worth practicing those stairs at home.

We stayed in the independent apartments, arranged like a little village, and found them comfortable with a lovely Greek feel. The terrace has a beautiful view of Puthagorio beneath the stars at night. Mrs. Maria was gentle and kind, always ready to help with what we needed. I'd definitely return.

The family who own this hotel are so warm and hospitable, which made it a wonderful place for a holiday in Pythagoreio. Beaches in every direction are only about a 15-minute drive away. Give “Psyli Ammos” a try. I'd happily recommend it for a summer break.

The rooms aren't very spacious, but there's a pleasant balcony lounge where you can sit. The views are good once you've made it up to the top!
