The gardens at Mykali are beautiful, and the views are the best! Georgio and Litsa on the wonderful staff were outstanding. We enjoyed the evening food, though I would have liked a larger menu. Room 11 was basic, old Greece style, but fine for us, and the view from it was unbeatable. Getting to Pythagoria village on foot is a difficult walk, so we used taxis for 8 euros. We loved Kokari too, and a taxi there cost 30 euros. Samos is highly recommended.

Lovely views and friendly staff. The walk uphill from the main beach and Pythagoria is a bit of a trek, but local taxis cost 8 euros.

The pool was clean and a good size, and the staff were really friendly. We had a lovely stay, and I’d happily come back. The hotel has a great view, though it’s a bit out of the way, so renting a car or motorbike makes things easier. Taxis are an option, just not very convenient. The room could have been a little bigger, but it wasn’t a big problem.

The restaurant served good food, and the service was better than we’ve had at expensive places in Pythagorion. We’ve got two days left before we head back to Denmark, and we’re so glad we ended up at Mykali. This is our first time in Samos together, and we came for our 15th anniversary. Everyone working here has been so nice and welcoming. Thanks again, Penny, for making the trip extra special.

The staff were great, really fun and nice. You get an amazing view from the room, and the rooms themselves are good too. If you’re after an affordable place near Pythagorio, this is a good choice, about a 20-minute walk to the village or an 8€ taxi ride. I’d definitely recommend booking here.
