Proteas Blu Resort - Adults Only

There are lots of stairs and slopes because the hotel is on a hillside. After the big Greek meals and excellent wine we enjoyed in the tavernas around Pythagorio, we treated the steps as a fun daily workout. The buggy service is handy if you’d rather get around more easily. The resort feels elegant, relaxing, and luxurious, with a beautiful, well-kept garden and stunning views of the sea and Turkish coastline. Sunbeds on the beach and beside the pool were very comfortable, and breakfast had delicious food, great quality, and lots of choice each morning. Staff throughout the resort, from the restaurants to the beach and pool, were kind, helpful, and professional. Leah’s island recommendations were so useful. The map she marked up became essential for our trip, and without her advice we would have missed some of Samos’s best spots. Angeliki always greeted us with a lovely smile at breakfast, then made delicious coffees and drinks at the beach bar, with a little sweet treat on the side. Iraklis stood out for his elegant and professional hospitality, and Sophie gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. We also helped rescue one of the cats living around the resort. Nearly half the guests got involved, a heartwarming little moment that showed the care people in Greece have for each other and for stray animals. The young bartender at the beach bar helped arrange a birthday surprise on the beach for my friend, which we’ll remember. The lady looking after our bungalow was kind, greeted us warmly each day, and patiently taught us a few Greek words. The staff driving the internal buggies were always available, smiling, and happy to help. Proteas Blu Resort gave us a luxurious, warm, and unforgettable stay. We’d gladly return.

Leah Skarou went above and beyond, arranging dinner reservations and suggesting lots of places for us to visit. She’s a gem, and the hotel is lucky to have her. The rooms were clean, the property restaurants delicious, and breakfast was the best. The staff were terrific, and this was the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. Our experience was more than five stars. We highly recommend this proteas blu for a trip to Samos Greece.

Wonderful breakfast, with a great selection of local and international food. The resort has great rooms, a lovely pool, a wonderful beach, and lots of in-room amenities. Best resort on the island, with super-friendly staff.

The pool was our favorite spot. The loungers and beds were really comfortable, and looking out over the sea from there felt magical. There’s also a beach area, but we enjoyed the pool more. Our first day at Proteas Blu Resort started with a complimentary drink. Since we’d told them ahead of time that we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded our room and prepared a lovely setup with chocolates, champagne, a 20% spa discount, cute hats, and balloons. They also left little gifts at our door for the first two days. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful views everywhere, and it was clean and well maintained. Staff were kind, smiling, and quick to help. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed the food throughout our stay. It was a perfect holiday for us. Thank you, Proteas Blu Resort!
