Villa Alonia

The hosts made us feel very welcome and were incredibly friendly. The villa has everything you need, plus a lovely patio and pool with plenty of sunbeds. It’s in a quiet, pleasant area, though keep in mind it’s at the far end of Kefalonia. We were really happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

We spent two nights in the upper-floor apartment. It’s fairly new, bright, very clean, and comfortable, with a sea view, a nice pool, and BBQ facilities. The nearest beaches and restaurants are only a few minutes away by car. We liked being away from the town’s bustle while still close to Skala centre. You have what you need for a full self-catering stay. The host was kind, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. We had to change our booking at the last minute because of a family emergency, and he was extremely considerate. We hope to return soon.

There’s a pool, a barbecue area, and two cats outside. The two-storey building is about 3 km from Skala beach, with one floor for each family. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds, and both have air conditioning. There’s also a bathroom with a shower cabin and hairdryer, plus a living room and kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, and fridge.

We had plenty of room in the two-night unit for our family of five. The inside was extremely clean and well maintained, and the host was friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendations, and left a few food items in the fridge. The pool was warm. We only needed the air conditioning for one night, and it cooled the room so much we had to turn it off partway through. Highly recommend!
